Laurie Brett revealed to Inside Soap Magazine that she’d like Linda Henry to play her sister inWaterloo Road.

Laurie Brett, who will play Christine Mulgrew in the upcoming eighth series of Waterloo Road humourously suggested that Linda Henry – Bad Girls’ Yvonne Atkins – should play her sister.

When asked by Inside Soap if she missed her Albert Square castmates, Brett said: “Of course. It was eight years of my life. But I’m still in touch with a lot of them. And it’s been lovely recently because we’ve had Zoe Lucker on Waterloo Road for a bit.

But I want Linda Henry to come in and play my sister – I’m sure she could get a few months off EastEnders!”

Linda Henry currently stars in EastEnders as Shirley Carter.
