Mark Benton – who plays Daniel Chalk – will leave during Series Eight.

Having appeared since the very beginning of Series 8,  Chalky will reportedly leave two-third of the way in through Series Eight.

Chalky is one of a few characters that have announced Series Eight will be their last.
